We lost our son Henry to suicide when he was 26 years old. I began writing to him about a month after his death, and continued to do so for the next year and a half. After filling the second journal, I decided I needed to stop, to learn to let him go.

I offer them now because sharing helps us all to endure what we are called to endure.

There will be 8 parts when complete. I have also included the prayer Jim read at Henry's memorial service, as well as a recounting of a dream I had about 1 1/2 years after Henry's death.
